![]() ![]() Tuesday, November 17, 2015 – Permalink – Don't DisplayLogon, Logoff, Startup and Shutdown Status MessagesTo turn these off: Start Regedit Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system If it is not already there, create a DWORD value named DisableStatusMessages Give it a value of 1 To turn on: Locate and then click the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value. Type verbosestatus, and then press ENTER. Double-click the new key that you created, type 1 in the Value data box, and then click OK. Quit Registry Editor.
